I did not expect a free scan coupon received from CA Rebecca at a Women’s Expo would lead to my retirement career. Looking for relief from chronic pain and other related issues I began my care journey with CDFC and Dr Rhiannon. After almost two years of committed care I can say I remain free from ‘traditional’ pain management that included steroids and pain meds.

Upon retirement Dr Rhiannon told me I had a new job. A year later I continue to find one of my greatest benefits here is watching the miracle of neurological chiropractic.I have the privilege to watch our little people grow and develop and learn in so many ways as their nervous systems regulate. It is truly a great joy to share my “Nana” vibes with our future generations.

When not not playing with the littles or catching up on patients’ wellness journeys I am busy working as a financial reporter helping to bring affordable options to our patients here at CDFC.

As a mom, I know firsthand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel when your child is struggling and you’re not getting the answers you need. I received no explanation for why my newborn, my toddler—my child—was in pain. She was simply labeled “colicky.” I was dismissed, unheard, and left to figure it out alone time and time again.
That experience shaped my passion for what we do here at Capital District Family Chiropractic. We offer hope, answers, and real solutions to families who are so often told there’s nothing that can be done. We believe parents. We support children. And we listen—exactly the kind of support I needed as a mom, and what every family deserves.

My whole life I have struggled with ear infections, gastrointestinal issues, migraines, hormone imbalance, and then was diagnosed with PCOS in my late 20s. I have anxiety that fluctuates into depression from time to time. I’ve experienced trauma and recovery and had wonderful life experiences. I have been searching for answers and healing for as long as I can remember. I found that here at Capital District Family Chiropractic. One by one my ailments faded like they never existed. Even just how my body handles stress has vastly improved. I don’t have IBS anymore, my migraines are a rare occurrence, PCOS affects me less than it used to, and I’ve been able to adjust my anxiety medication. Chiropractic care is healing my nervous system and freeing me up to think more about doing the things I love like taking care of my cats, coaching, being outside, and trying to keep my plants alive.

Leadership Team, Chief Marketing Officer

When I first started at Capital District Family Chiropractic, I didn’t even fully understand chiropractic—especially neurologically-focused chiropractic. I was discovered at a craft fair by Dr. Rhiannon Clauss, and I had no idea how much my life was about to change for the better.

Since then, I’ve witnessed incredible transformations. I’ve seen children on their very first day—shy, nonverbal, unable to poop or sleep properly, extremely amped up—and then watched how gentle, targeted, and specific chiropractic techniques and adjustments have helped them thrive. I’ve seen kids begin to speak, poop more regularly, soothe easier and faster, and regulate their moods and emotions more effectively.

To witness families transition into lifetime wellness together, co-regulating as strong, connected units—and to know their stories and be a part of their journey—has been absolutely life-changing for me. It fuels my mission to serve every single day.

My journey with CDFC started on a personal note—as a patient. I was a newly teen mom, navigating this challenging season of life and feeling a bit lost. From my very first visit, I knew this practice was different. The warmth, the connection, and the way the team embraced both me and my child made me feel truly seen and supported. The atmosphere felt more like family than a doctor’s office; I saw kids laughing, parents chatting with the team like old friends, and a genuine sense of community that made me feel at home.

A few months into my care, I joined the CDFC team as a Runner and Scan Tech. Over time, I found my passion in the Marketing Department, where I now get to share the powerful stories and miracles that happen in our office.
Watching families move out of being in the thick of a Perfect Storm, celebrating Transition to Wellnesses, and connecting with our amazing community is what makes this job so fulfilling. I’m honored to be part of a team that leads with heart, and I’m proud to share our mission every single day.

My background in science and social work led me to be a care advocate. When I started as a patient, I was drawn to how much science, data, and technology were used to determine chiropractic care for each person. When I was hired to join the mission of neurological well-being for everyone, I wanted to empower patients receiving care through knowing the science backing up their reasons for care. That hasn’t changed since my Day 1.
